Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Mahadhi ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you use Mahadhi on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for them.

Mahadhi is a personal focus and planning tool. It helps you plan your day into blocks, run focus timers, capture thoughts, and review how your time went. Mahadhi is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

Mahadhi is designed to be supportive of people with ADHD and similar attention patterns, but it is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Nothing in the app is medical, psychological, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions. You use Mahadhi at your own discretion.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mahadhi. If you are under the age at which you can consent to these terms where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to them on your behalf. Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app.

Mahadhi's core features are free. Mahadhi Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks additional features, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and are charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account) at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store (or Google Play) subscription settings — cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Payments, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we cannot issue refunds directly. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Restore Purchases (in Settings and on the upgrade screen) re-activates an existing subscription on a new or reinstalled device. We may change Pro's price or included features going forward; changes to price apply to future renewals and Apple/Google will notify you as their policies require.

Mahadhi Pro includes an optional AI feature ("Break it down") that suggests first steps for a block you're struggling to start. It requires an account and an internet connection. Suggestions are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They are suggestions only — you decide what to do, and you remain responsible for your own work and decisions. Do not rely on them for anything safety-critical, medical, legal, or financial. To keep the feature available to everyone and to control costs, we apply a fair-use limit to how many suggestions can be requested per day. We may change, limit, or withdraw AI features at any time, including for reasons outside our control such as a change from our AI provider.

You agree not to: - Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. - Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code, except where allowed by law. - Interfere with or disrupt the app, our servers, or other users. - Use the app to store or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful. - Abuse the Rhythm sharing feature to distribute spam, harassment, or malicious content.

The blocks, plans, and thoughts you create are yours. You retain all rights to them. When you choose to share a Rhythm, you grant other users the ability to view and copy that shared plan. You are responsible for the content you create and share, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

The Mahadhi app, its name, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, logos, or branding. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.

Mahadhi relies on a small number of outside providers: Supabase (accounts and Rhythm sharing), Anthropic (the AI feature), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple or Google (payments and delivery). Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Our Privacy Policy explains what each one receives.

Mahadhi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time. Do not rely on the app as your only reminder for time-critical matters. Your consumer rights. Nothing in this section or in section 12 excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or guarantee you have under consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded — including the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and Canadian provincial consumer protection laws such as Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Where such a law applies, our liability for a failure to meet a guarantee is limited, to the extent the law permits, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mahadhi and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, productivity, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mahadhi and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

You may stop using Mahadhi at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or our systems. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update the app and these terms over time. When we make material changes to these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be handled in the courts located in that state, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer laws of the country or province where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

These terms apply when you obtain Mahadhi from the Apple App Store, and are required by Apple: Acknowledgement. This agreement is between you and Mahadhi only, not with Apple. Mahadhi, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Scope of licence. The licence granted to you is a non-transferable licence to use Mahadhi on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that Mahadhi may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing. Maintenance and support. Mahadhi is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services. Warranty. Mahadhi is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Product claims. Mahadhi, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. Intellectual property rights. If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Mahadhi, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about the app can be directed to support@mahadhi.app. Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Mahadhi regarding the app.
