Apple App Store Privacy
Last updated: July 2026
Which policy applies
Mahadhi has one privacy policy, and it covers the app on every platform, including iOS. This page summarizes the parts Apple's App Store Review Guidelines ask us to make clear. For the full detail, read the Privacy Policy.
Data used to identify you
Only if you choose to create an account:
- Email address — used to sign you in.
- Name — the first and last name you provide.
An account is optional. Mahadhi works fully without one.
Data not collected
- Location data.
- Contacts, browsing history, or search history.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- Usage analytics — Mahadhi embeds no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Audio — voice-to-text runs on your device. Recordings are never uploaded.
Data stored on your device
Your focus blocks, plans, thoughts, subtasks, and session history are kept in your device's local database, not on our servers. Your sign-in token is stored in the iOS Keychain.
Tracking
Mahadhi does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Permissions we request
Each permission is requested only when you use the feature that needs it:
- Microphone & Speech Recognition — to turn your voice into text when adding a thought. On-device only.
- Photo Library — to attach a screenshot to a bug report.
- Notifications — to deliver local reminders for focus blocks and anchored times.
You can revoke any of these in iOS Settings, and Mahadhi keeps working without them.
Account deletion
Apple requires apps that support account creation to also support account deletion. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account inside Mahadhi. See Delete Your Account for the full process.
