Google Play Privacy
Last updated: July 2026
Which policy applies
Mahadhi has one privacy policy, and it covers the app on every platform, including Android. This page summarizes the parts Google Play's Developer Program Policies and Data safety section ask us to make clear. For the full detail, read the Privacy Policy.
Data collected
Only if you choose to create an account:
- Email address — used to sign you in.
- Name — the first and last name you provide.
An account is optional. Mahadhi works fully without one.
Data not collected
- Location data.
- Contacts, browsing history, or search history.
- Advertising ID.
- Usage analytics — Mahadhi embeds no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Audio — voice-to-text runs on your device. Recordings are never uploaded.
Data sharing
Mahadhi does not share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing, and does not sell it. The only external service involved is Supabase, which provides authentication and stores your email, name, and any Rhythms you explicitly choose to share.
Data stored on your device
Your focus blocks, plans, thoughts, subtasks, and session history are kept in your device's local database, not on our servers. Your sign-in token is stored in the Android Keystore.
Security practices
Data sent between Mahadhi and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are held in your device's secure storage.
Permissions we request
Each permission is requested only when you use the feature that needs it:
- Microphone & Speech Recognition — to turn your voice into text when adding a thought. On-device only.
- Photos & Media — to attach a screenshot to a bug report.
- Notifications — to deliver local reminders for focus blocks and anchored times.
You can revoke any of these in Android Settings, and Mahadhi keeps working without them.
Account and data deletion
Google Play requires apps that support account creation to offer account deletion, including a way to request it from outside the app. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account inside Mahadhi, or by email. See Delete Your Account for both routes.
