Common questions
Do I need an account? No. Mahadhi works fully offline and on-device. An account is optional and only used for signing in.
Where is my data? Your blocks, thoughts, and history are stored on your device. If you create an account, only your email and name are stored on our servers.
How do I delete my account? In the app: Settings → Delete Account. Details on our Delete Your Account page.
Voice capture isn't working. Voice-to-text uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Make sure Mahadhi has microphone and speech-recognition permission in your device settings.
I'm not getting reminders. Check that notifications are enabled for Mahadhi in your device settings.
I deleted a thought by accident. Deleted thoughts go to a trash at the bottom of the Thoughts tab and are kept for 14 days — tap restore to bring one back. This is free for everyone.
What's a variant? A smaller or different version of one of your blocks — "Outline only · 15 min" — with its own to-dos. If a block has variants, Mahadhi asks which version you want when you start or plan it. Creating variants is part of Mahadhi Pro.
Can I rename a block while it's running? Yes. Tap the block's name on the focus screen. A block started without a name reads "Name this block" until you do.
Which countries is Mahadhi available in? The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, on both the App Store and Google Play. More are planned.
What does "Break it down" send? Only the block's title and its planned length, so the AI can suggest first steps. No other blocks, history, or personal details are sent, and the request isn't stored. It needs an account, an internet connection, and Mahadhi Pro, and there's a daily fair-use limit.
How do I move to a new phone? Settings → Export backup saves a file you can send to yourself; on the new phone, Settings → Restore backup reads it in. Restoring replaces what's on that device, so use it on a fresh install.
I bought Pro but it's not showing. Tap Restore Purchases in Settings (or on the upgrade screen) while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase.
